‘Waterloo – A Tribute to ABBA’ is coming to cinch Stadium at Franklin's Gardens for the first of the venue's summertime concerts on Friday 14 June. 

The two-hour spectacular is set to feature the iconic lyrics composed by Benny and Bjorn and be sung in wonderful, captivating harmony playing tribute to the Swedish pop supergroup’s greatest and most-memorable hits.

With stunning visuals, dazzling costumes and breath-taking choreography, the spectacular live cast and band will take you on an incredible journey through 50 years of ABBA.

BOOKING AND COLLECTING TICKETS

  • + How much are tickets?

    • From £25 (plus booking fee) up to £40 for Golden Circle tickets.

     

  • + I haven't purchased my tickets yet, how can I purchase them?

    • You can purchase tickets by clicking HERE.

     

  • + Can I purchase tickets in person on the day?

    • Yes, you can purchase tickets in person from our ticket office from 11am until 8pm on Friday.

     

  • + Do I pay a booking fee on my tickets?

    • Yes, there is a £2.50 booking fee on each ticket.

     

  • + How can I tell if a ticket seller or website is legitimate?

    • We recommend not purchasing tickets from unauthorised vendors as we cannot guarantee that they are authentic, and you may be refused entry.
    • Only purchase tickets via Northampton Saints’ Ticketmaster ticketing site.
    • Please note; we do not accept resold tickets from unofficial ticket sites such as Viagogo and similar secondary ticketing websites.

     

  • + What should I do if my tickets haven’t arrived?

    • If you have not received your tickets two weeks prior to the event, please contact [email protected].

     

  • + I have lost my tickets. Can I get replacements?

    • The relevant ticket outlet may issue duplicate tickets at its own discretion. If the relevant ticket outlet issues a duplicate ticket, it may charge a reasonable administration fee. Please contact [email protected].

     

  • + Can I upgrade my tickets once purchased/on the day?

    • No.

     

  • + What do I do if the concert is cancelled?

    • If the event is cancelled, tickets will be refunded at face value. The promoter reserves the right to deduct order processing fees. For more information please look at our Terms and Conditions.

     

  • + How can I buy accessible seats?

     

  • + I’m a Saints Season Ticket Holder, can I buy my matchday seat?

    • No.

Car Parking

  • + Can I book car parking in advance?

    • Yes, you can book car parking in Car Park D  (NN5 5JT) by clicking HERE. It costs £10 plus a £1.50 booking fee. Pre-booking is advised as spaces are limited

     

  • + Can I arrive on the day and pay for parking?

    • Yes, car parking in Car Park D (NN5 5JT) is available on the day for £15 by card payment only. But pre-booking is advised, as spaces are limited, please click HERE to book.

     

  • + What time does the car park open and close?

    • Car Park D (NN5 5JT) opens at 3pm and closes at midnight.

     

BEFORE YOU ARRIVE

  • + WHAT SHOULD I BRING WITH ME?

    We recommend bringing the following items:

    • A bag is allowed as long as no bigger than A5 paper in size 5.8 x 8.3 inches
    • Your print at home ticket(s)
    • Credit / debit cards
    • ID (driving licence or passport will be required to purchase alcohol if ID is requested)
    • ID is required if you look under 14 to gain access to the standing area and Golden Circle. ID is also required if you look under 16 and are not accompanied by an adult.
    • Either a reusable water flask, or a sealed plastic water bottle (500ml or under)
    • Sunscreen
    • Waterproof clothes
    • Picnic blankets are allowed
    • Camp chairs not allowed
    • Compact umbrellas are allowed.
    • Golf umbrellas are not allowed.

     

  • + Can I bring my mobile phone?

    • Yes.

     

  • + Can I bring my iPad / tablet?

    • No.

     

  • + How can I best plan my travel to and from the event?

     

  • + Is there parking available?

    • Parking can be purchased in advance by clicking HERE, it costs £10 plus a £1.50 booking fee. 
    • Parking (in Car Park D, postcode; NN5 5JT for satellite navigation devices) is also available on the day for £15.

  • + How much is parking and how do I book it?

    • Parking costs £10 plus booking fee, per space and is available to pre-book at time of purchasing your ticket.

     

  • + How do I get to the stadium?

    • Exit the M1 at junction 15a or 16 and follow the signs to Northampton and Sixfields, or alternatively follow the brown rugby ball signs. At third roundabout after leaving the motorway, turn right onto A5076 (next to the Sixfields football stadium). 
    • Go straight over the mini roundabout onto Edgar Mobbs Way where the stadium car parks are clearly signposted. Please use the postcode NN5 5JT for satellite navigation devices, as most systems will take you to the main entrance of the ground not the car parks. 

     

  • + Is bike parking available at the stadium?

    • There is a small bike shelter available in car park A – this holds approximately 15 push bikes.

SMOKING

  • + Can I smoke at the concert?

    • cinch Stadium at Franklin’s Gardens is a NO SMOKING stadium. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes is not permitted anywhere in the stadium or Supporter Village. 
    • Smoking is permitted from Gates 2 and 3 during the concert interval (approximately 8.30pm until 8.50pm).

ENTRY

  • + What security measures are in place for the event?

    • An enhanced security operation will be in place for this event. We are working in partnership with all relevant local authorities and agencies, and all appropriate security measures have been taken. Bag searching will be carried out at all entry points, so please allow time for your bag to be checked.

     

  • + Can I take my bag into the event?

    • Yes, but it will be checked as part of security measures. All bags will need to be smaller than an A5 piece of paper in size 5.8 x 8.3 inches.
    • Sniffer dogs may be in operation at the venue. All bags will be searched on arrival.
    • Any item left may be removed and disposed of.

     

       

    • + What can't I bring into the stadium?

      The following items will not be allowed into the stadium:

      • Audio or visual recording equipment
      • Banners
      • Fireworks
      • Flags / Flagpoles
      • Food and drink
      • Glass bottles
      • Laser pointers or similar
      • Smoke canisters or similar
      • Golf umbrellas (compact umbrellas are allowed)

       

    • + What types of food and drink can I bring in?

      • Only water in either a reusable water flask, or sealed plastic bottles, will be allowed into the stadium – 500ml and under.

       

    • + Are there any age restrictions for this event?

      • Seating Area – All ages welcome
      • Standing Area & Golden Circle – No persons under-14 permitted. Persons aged 14 & 15 years old must be accompanied by an adult 18 or over at all times (one adult minimum per four persons aged under-16).
      • If you do wish to bring children as part of your party, at your discretion, they can attend as long as they possess a valid seated ticket to gain entry and there is a responsible adult of 18 and above for every four children under 16.
      • All Under 14’s must be accompanied by an adult. The adult must remain with them and take full responsibility for them throughout the event.
      • Please note: There will be age checks in operation. If there is doubt whether a minor qualifies for age restrictions set out, proof of age may be requested. It is the responsibility of the adult accompanying the minor to be able to satisfy staff that the minor is the age they say. We recommend if in doubt please bring colour photocopy of the minor’s passport to prevent any unnecessary disappointment.

       

    • + Can I bring an umbrella?

      • Compact umbrellas are allowed.
      • Golf umbrellas are not allowed.
    • + Where is the hospitality entrance?

      • There will be a priority lane for hospitality guests at gate 2.

    SHOW INFORMATION

    • + What are the timings for the event?

      • The village and bowl opens to the public at 5pm.
      • The Waterloo show starts at 7.30pm
      • An interval will follow at approximately 8pm
      • Second act begins at 8.50pm. 
      • The show will end at approximately 9.45pm.
      • Bars will close at 10.45pm.  
      • Venue to close at 11pm
      • Car parks close at midnight. 

       

    • + What happens if I'm late?

      • You will be allowed access to the event until 8:00pm, but no compensation will be offered if you have missed any part of the performance.

       

    • + What should I do if I have a problem at the event?

      • Please approach the nearest steward as soon as possible.

       

    • + Will there be strobe lighting?

      • Yes.

       

    • + Where will the stage be positioned?

      • Just in front of the halfway line and behind the 22metre line, facing towards the cinch Stand seating area.
    • + What happens if it rains?

      Concert goers are reminded that our stands are undercover.

    FACILITIES

    • + What card payments do you accept?

      • All credit and debit cards will be accepted excluding American Express.

       

    • + Do you have Wi-Fi?

      • No – there is no public Wi-Fi at the stadium.

       

    • + Where can I smoke/vape?

      • Strictly no smoking or vaping stadium but there will be designated smoking/vaping areas outside of the stadium bowl. Please observe signage or ask a steward who will direct you to these locations.

       

    • + Is food and drink available at the event?

      • There will be a range of food and drink at the event.

       

    • + What ID do you accept for the purchase of alcohol?

      • Challenge 25 will be in operation at the event and alcohol will only be served to those able to prove their age with a passport or driving licence.
      • This means if you look younger than 18 you will be asked for ID. Please do not be offended – we have a legal responsibility to ensure alcohol is not sold to Under 18’s.

       

    • + Is there a cloakroom for coats, bags or luggage?

      • No cloakroom facilities will be available at the event. Any item left may be removed and disposed of.

       

    • + If my child is lost, where is the nearest meeting point?

      • We recommend using the First Aid room in the North West corner of the stadium as a meeting point in the event of losing any children, friends or family.

       

    • + Where can I arrange to be collected?

      • We ask that you make transport arrangements to be collected from the venue by 11pm. We will have a safe pick-up point in Car Park A (Postcode: NN5 5LN). This will be well lit and monitored by stewards.

       

    • + How do I make a complaint?

      • If you have a complaint on the day of the event, please contact your nearest steward so that it can be addressed as soon as possible. If you want to make a complaint after the event, please email [email protected].

       

    • + How can I leave feedback about my experience?

      • We welcome all feedback about your experience. You can submit it by emailing [email protected].

       

    • + Who should I contact for lost property?

      • Please contact your nearest steward as soon as you realise you have lost something. If you do not realise until after the event, please contact the venue on 01604 751543.

       

    • + Can I get a shout out from the artists?

      • No.

       

    • + I have additional needs, what facilities are available to me?

      • Please get in touch with us in advance if you have additional requirements.

    Strict age monitoring will be in place at all entrances and we reserve the right to refuse admission without a refund to anyone who fails to comply.
